Tim Nyberg has been a professional illustrator and graphic designer for over three decades. With a recent move to a tourist area and in as much retirement mode as he will ever be in, Tim started painting non-commissioned / non-commercial art works. His work reflects his humorous illustration style, but also takes detours into impressionism and abstracts - many of which painted to live jazz at his gallery. More of Tim's work may be found at GalleryFortyTwo.com.
Tim has also authored over 25 humor books - most notably "The Duct Tape Book(s)" genre - and performs stand-up comedy internationally with his brother-in-law as Jim and Tim, the Duct Tape Guys. His illustrations and design work has been published in internationally for over 30 years.
"My photography is often used as a quick "scrapbooking" of ideas, but many of the photos are finished pieces in and of themselves. I really don't consider myself a photographer. However, if there is something that I can capture adequately in a photograph, I don't see the sense in painting it. Photography to me is being at the right place, at the right time, with the right light and a good eye for design.
